From East of the Mississippi? Traveled much, much further to be here on this desert than those fab California folks? Have we got a gathering for you! It's the Eastside Party, in it's 6th Year!!! Join with other folks from East of the Mississippi, East Coast Folks, South Coast Folks to converge and recognize, ambush and accost, gaggle and hail, connect and confront in Asylum Village, at the Whiskey and Whores Saloon, on Friday afternoon about 1pm for punch and cookies and our own special take on this West Coast world.

Times Square on the playa with an awesome New Years Eve ball on a tower. At the stroke of midnight each day, we are going to drop the ball and celebrate the new day! We are going to hand out champagne, noise makers and hats. We are also going to shoot off fireworks and sing Auld Lang Syne together. There will be a board to post your New Day’s resolution, and the event will be MC'd by Father Time and Baby New Year on a stage.
